Backwoods – What Is It And How To Roll It?

Backwoods Smokes is a type of cigar brand that began in the 1970s. Altadis Tobacco Company is the company responsible for Backwoods Smokes, and they started off by producing tiny cigars ever since the U.S. started to become more strict on cigarette usage. The goal of Altadis was to make a mini-cigar that was completely natural. Ever since the Backwoods cigar has started to become more and more common.

Backwoods cigars are made with a machine that uses a broadleaf wrapper. This is what gives the cigar a sweet taste. In order to increase the sweetness and flavor of Backwoods Smokes, they are cured and aged at around 70% humidity.

If you have a Backwoods blunt cigar that isn’t completely fresh, then it might be trickier because things will be more fragile and crunchy.

Few Tips On How To Roll A Backwood Blunt

Rolling up a Backwoods can take some practice, but over time, you’ll get the hang of it if you follow these steps:

  • Start by taking off the tobacco leaves from the outside of the Backwoods cigar. You’ll want to do this very delicately even if you’re using fresh Backwoods because the leaf can tear.
  • After you’ve got the cigar opened up, take out all of the tobacco inside of it.
  • Get your grinder and start busting up your cannabis. Once that’s finished, place it to the side.
  • After all of the tobacco is taken out of the cigar, put the cigar on a flat table.
  • Moisten the inner part of the leaf wrap. For best results, moisten the exterior of it, as well. The paper shouldn’t be too moist. The moisture will just help you seal it better.
  • You can now begin putting your cannabis along the middle of the wrap.
  • Place the wrap right over the weed and push the cannabis in nice and tight. Doing this on a flat surface makes things go much easier. If you want an extra kick to your blunt, try putting some of the tobacco back into the blunt.
  • Once you begin nearing the last part of the blunt roll, you’ll see a bit of the tobacco wrap sitting on an angle.
  • Moisten the piece of the blunt and seal it shut.
  • You can now wait a bit and give the blunt a chance to dry off, but don’t let it get completely dry. The blunt should be nice and stable. Make sure that it doesn’t unravel at any point.
  • Sometimes applying a bit of the flame from your lighter will help dry things quicker.

Now that you know the details of smoking Backwoods blunts, go and give it a try.
