Cadillac Purple is an indica variety. You may also see it sold as Purple Cadillac. The effects people mention most are feeling sleepy, relaxed and hungry.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 7 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2021 came in at a median of 20.4% total THC (the middle half ranged from 19.9% to 21.5%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is myrcene, followed by caryophyllene and pinene. Myrcene is known for earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.7%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as grape, lavender and violet.
Beyond feeling sleepy, reviewers also mention feeling tingly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with pain, stress and insomnia. The side effects mentioned most are dry mouth, paranoia and dry eyes. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
Cadillac Purple is also a parent of Cadillac Cookies.
