Blackwater is an indica-leaning strain that comes from a cross of Mendocino Purps with San Fernando Valley OG Kush. You may also see it sold as Black Water. People who try it most often describe feeling sleepy, relaxed and hungry.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 14 flower samples tested came in at a median of 23.1% total THC (the middle half ranged from 20.9% to 23.6%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by limonene and myrcene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while limonene adds bright citrus-peel freshness. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.9%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as grape, pine and berry.
Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with pain, stress and insomnia. The side effects mentioned most are dry eyes, paranoia and headaches. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
