I was embarrassed and had a bad taste in my mouth after being part of the medical cannabis industry in Michigan as a veteran. We weren't greeted and the desk person barely acknowledged us. They didn't ask if it was our first time or if we were in their system. The manager or owner started a conversation and then abruptly left and rudely. We told him it had been our first time ever in a Colorado dispensary and that we'd driven nine hours to get there; it was my girlfriend's first time ever in a dispensary and she struggles with talking to people and going to stores, so I was hoping to show her the positive side of the industry. Once inside, they asked what they could get for me, not what my medical needs were or what my preferred method of medicating was. After mentioning cartridges and live resin, they showed me top tier products in an attempt to get an upcharge. When I was checking out, I asked if there was a first-time patient or veteran discount, but was told no. I was very sad.

I placed my order several hours in advance, but they refused to accept my ID even though it had a picture of it on Weedmaps. The corner of the ID was chipped off, which was only 1% of the card, but it still swiped and the information on it was up-to-date. Other dispensaries had accepted it without any issue when I visited two days before and two more on the same day. The staff didn't seem very knowledgeable either based on my past experiences.

I absolutely adore Lindsay and everyone else at Sam and Miss you! She has a great understanding of bud, CBD products and the uses for each. It's amazing! They have been really supportive during this difficult time. I highly recommend you check them out!
