My experience at Apothekare was initially awful, but it changed drastically when I spoke to the Manager, Maggie, on the phone. She was visibly shocked to hear about the terrible behaviour of their staff and even told me that the Assistant Manager who was the cause of my bad experience had been fired. Maggie was extremely professional, sympathetic and friendly which completely changed my opinion of the place. I wouldn't have returned if it wasn't for her remarkable attitude - I was truly impressed!

Although this dispensary is legally operating for patients, their customer service and professionalism is lacking. The majority of their staff members are 21 year old kids, which can make the atmosphere of the dispensary less welcoming. When I asked about the different strains of shatter, the girls were unable to provide me with the information I needed. With the addition of a new worker, I have not been satisfied with my visits here and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I've been a loyal customer of Apothekare since they opened, and they have never let me down. Their products match what they advertise, offering quality selection for even the pickiest of customers, and their staff are always friendly and helpful. I visited this dispensary, located one mile away from my office, twice, but did not make a purchase either time. The first time, after I had submitted my new patient form, it took them 25 minutes to actually let me in the store. The prices were the highest I had seen at any of the dispensaries in San Diego, and the flower was not labeled with Indica, Sativa, or Hybrid. The employees were unprofessional and did not take me seriously, and when I asked which side of the counter was Sativa, one of them answered in an annoyed tone that the jars were all mixed together and I had to ask for each strain. Due to the long wait, high prices, and rudeness, I left without buying anything. I decided to give them a second chance and returned the next month, but after 15 minutes of waiting in the lobby, I left again. I have been to seven other dispensaries in San Diego and all of them treated me like they wanted my business, so I will stick to using one of them.
