Located in the center of Los Angeles since 2012, Mecca Mid City is a female owned and operated cannabis retailer and the homebase for the Mecca brand of products. We are the proud recipient of multiple licenses in the cannabis space including retail, delivery, distribution, manufacturing, and cultivation and are actively seeking to expand. Our flagship location is an alluring balance of modern and old-world design, an oasis in the heart of the city.
Our inspiration stems from ancient Hindu texts dating back to 4000 years ago, describing the role cannabis played in spiritual rituals. Legends detailed cannabis as one of the five sacred plants, connecting people and elevating consciousness. Mecca reflects the way we see cannabis and its role in bringing people together, by being the catalyst to embarking on your own personal journey.

Starting as a cultivator, the owner has worked in cannabis for 20 years, lending her expertise to the most sought-after products and memorable retail experiences. The transition from the traditional to the legal market came with many obstacles, but her determination and adaptability have carried through. She gets the most joy from seeing the excitement on a customer’s face, the instilled confidence of an employee, and the diversity of the Mecca community. To this day, she personally curates every flower on the shelf.
