Super Silver Haze

About Super Silver Haze

Super Silver Haze is a sativa variety. You may also see it sold as SSH. The effects people mention most are feeling energetic, uplifted and creative.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 247 flower samples tested between 2021 and 2024 came in at a median of 24.1% total THC (the middle half ranged from 17.7% to 29%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That puts it at the strong end of the market, so newer consumers should start low. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by myrcene and limonene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while myrcene adds earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.8%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as spicy/herbal, citrus and skunk.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling energetic, reviewers also mention feeling talkative and focused. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, anxiety and depression. The side effects mentioned most are paranoia, dry eyes and dry mouth. These are personal reports, not medical advice.

Genetics

Super Silver Haze is also a parent of Super Sour Diesel, Silverback Gorilla, Silver Kush, Jack Haze, Silver Surfer and Pai Gow.
