A cross of Platinum and Slurricane, Sugar Cane is a cross-bred hybrid. The effects people mention most are feeling energetic, focused and uplifted.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 47 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2024 came in at a median of 17.4% total THC (the middle half ranged from 15.1% to 19.8%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is limonene, followed by caryophyllene and pinene. Limonene is known for bright citrus-peel freshness, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.9%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as grape, sweet and flowery.
Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with depression, anxiety and stress. The side effects mentioned most are anxiety, paranoia and dizziness. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
Parents: Platinum and Slurricane. Sugar Cane is also a parent of Misty Morning.
