Stardawg is a hybrid strain that comes from a cross of Chemdawg #4 with Tres Dawg. You may also see it sold as Stardog. People who try it most often describe feeling talkative, happy and energetic.
Across 51 public lab tests of Stardawg flower in 2022, the median result was 19.2% total THC, with half of all samples falling between 17.8% and 21.1%. CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by limonene and humulene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while limonene adds bright citrus-peel freshness. Total terpene content measured a median of 1%. On the palate, people pick out diesel, chemical and pine.
Beyond feeling talkative, reviewers also mention feeling hungry and uplifted. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, depression and anxiety. The side effects mentioned most are dizziness, dry mouth and anxiety. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
Parents: Chemdawg #4 and Tres Dawg. Stardawg is also a parent of Bubba Fett, Golden Nugget, Queso Perro, Dream Star, Cowboy Kush and S'mores.
