Sour Haze is a sativa variety. You may also see it sold as Sour Diesel Haze. The effects people mention most are feeling energetic, talkative and focused.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 89 flower samples tested between 2021 and 2023 came in at a median of 24% total THC (the middle half ranged from 22.2% to 25.1%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is terpinolene, followed by myrcene and caryophyllene. Terpinolene is known for fresh, herbal brightness with hints of pine and flowers, while myrcene adds earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.4%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as citrus, diesel and grapefruit.
Beyond feeling energetic, reviewers also mention feeling aroused and giggly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, anxiety and depression. The side effects mentioned most are paranoia, anxiety and dry mouth. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
