Red Diesel is a hybrid strain. People who try it most often describe feeling hungry, energetic and creative.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 98 flower samples tested between 2021 and 2023 came in at a median of 14.3% total THC (the middle half ranged from 12.9% to 15.5%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is on the milder side for modern flower. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is myrcene, followed by pinene and caryophyllene. Myrcene is known for earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge, while pinene adds sharp, fresh pine. Total terpene content measured a median of 0.9%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as diesel, apple and tobacco.
Beyond feeling hungry, reviewers also mention feeling euphoric and giggly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, anxiety and pain. The side effects mentioned most are paranoia, anxiety and dry mouth. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
