Rainmaker is a hybrid strain that comes from a cross of Citral Skunk with Mandarin Sunset. You may also see it sold as Rain Maker. People who try it most often describe feeling relaxed, focused and happy.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 12 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2022 came in at a median of 21.3% total THC (the middle half ranged from 18.6% to 22%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is myrcene, followed by caryophyllene and limonene. Myrcene is known for earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.9%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as cheese, skunk and ammonia.
Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with anxiety, pain and stress. The side effects mentioned most are anxiety, dry eyes and headaches. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
