Josh D OG is an indica-leaning strain that comes from a cross of SFV OG with Triangle Kush x Hell’s Angels OG. People who try it most often describe feeling hungry, relaxed and sleepy.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 10 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2021 came in at a median of 19.6% total THC (the middle half ranged from 17.3% to 20.9%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by myrcene and pinene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while myrcene adds earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge. Total terpene content measured a median of 0.6%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as blue cheese, tea and woody.
Beyond feeling hungry, reviewers also mention feeling aroused. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with insomnia, depression and headaches. The side effects mentioned most are dizziness, dry mouth and headaches. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
Parents: SFV OG and Triangle Kush x Hell’s Angels OG. Josh D OG is also a parent of Zap Pak.
