Gelato Mints

About Gelato Mints

Gelato Mints is a hybrid bred from Animal Mints and Gelato #41. You may also see it sold as Gelato Mintz. Reviews most often mention feeling uplifted, aroused and focused.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 62 flower samples tested between 2021 and 2024 came in at a median of 24.3% total THC (the middle half ranged from 20.5% to 26.9%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That puts it at the strong end of the market, so newer consumers should start low. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by humulene and limonene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while humulene adds dry, woody and hop-like character. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.7%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as mint, sweet and berry.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling uplifted, reviewers also mention feeling euphoric and happy. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with anxiety, depression and stress. The side effects mentioned most are paranoia, anxiety and dizziness. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
