Animal Cookies is a hybrid strain. You may also see it sold as Animal Crackers. People who try it most often describe feeling relaxed, sleepy and hungry.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 140 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2024 came in at a median of 21.3% total THC (the middle half ranged from 16.8% to 24%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is myrcene, followed by caryophyllene and limonene. Myrcene is known for earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.4%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as sweet, pungent and earthy.
Beyond feeling relaxed, reviewers also mention feeling euphoric and tingly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, pain and anxiety. The side effects mentioned most are dry mouth, paranoia and dry eyes. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
Animal Cookies is also a parent of Apple Fritter, Animal Mints, Granimals, Cherry Garcia, Cement Shoes and Animal Cake.
