About Gary Payton

Gary Payton is a cross-bred hybrid. The effects people mention most are feeling giggly, talkative and relaxed.

THC and potency

Across 645 public lab tests of Gary Payton flower between 2020 and 2024, the median result was 20.8% total THC, with half of all samples falling between 19% and 23.1%. CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by limonene and linalool. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while limonene adds bright citrus-peel freshness. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.2%. On the palate, people pick out pepper, apricot and lavender.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling giggly, reviewers also mention feeling hungry and happy. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with anxiety, stress and depression. The side effects mentioned most are anxiety, paranoia and headaches. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
