About Sour Apple

A cross of Sour Diesel and Cinderella 99, Sour Apple is a cross-bred hybrid. You may also see it sold as Sour Apple Diesel. The effects people mention most are feeling giggly, tingly and happy.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 36 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2024 came in at a median of 19.8% total THC (the middle half ranged from 19.1% to 20.8%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is limonene, followed by caryophyllene and humulene. Limonene is known for bright citrus-peel freshness, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.5%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as apple, pear and sweet.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling giggly, reviewers also mention feeling euphoric and hungry. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, anxiety and depression. The side effects mentioned most are dry eyes, headaches and dizziness. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
