About Sour Tangie

Sour Tangie is a sativa-leaning strain that comes from a cross of ECSD with Tangie. You may also see it sold as Sunva. People who try it most often describe feeling energetic, uplifted and focused.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 123 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2023 came in at a median of 22% total THC (the middle half ranged from 19.6% to 23.9%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is limonene, followed by myrcene and caryophyllene. Limonene is known for bright citrus-peel freshness, while myrcene adds earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.7%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as orange, citrus and diesel.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling energetic, reviewers also mention feeling creative and talkative. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with depression, stress and anxiety. The side effects mentioned most are anxiety, headaches and dry mouth. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
