About Alien OG
A cross of Tahoe OG and Alien Kush, Alien OG is a cross-bred hybrid. You may also see it sold as Alien OG Kush, Alien Banana. The effects people mention most are feeling euphoric, hungry and giggly.
THC and potency
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 577 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2024 came in at a median of 21% total THC (the middle half ranged from 18.6% to 24.4%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on dispensary shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
Aroma, flavour and terpenes
In lab tests its dominant terpene is myrcene, followed by caryophyllene and limonene. Myrcene is known for earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.2%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as pine, lemon and earthy.
Reported effects
Beyond feeling euphoric, reviewers also mention feeling uplifted and sleepy. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, anxiety and pain. The side effects mentioned most are paranoia, dry eyes and headaches. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
