About OG Kush

OG Kush is a cross-bred hybrid. You may also see it sold as Premium OG Kush. The effects people mention most are feeling hungry, sleepy and euphoric.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 400 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2024 came in at a median of 24.5% total THC (the middle half ranged from 20.6% to 26.8%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That puts it at the strong end of the market, so newer consumers should start low. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by limonene and myrcene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while limonene adds bright citrus-peel freshness. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.7%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as pine, woody and earthy.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling hungry, reviewers also mention feeling happy and giggly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, anxiety and pain. The side effects mentioned most are dry mouth, dry eyes and paranoia. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
