Patriot Care-Greenfield was founded for personal reasons, by an individual with first-hand experience observing the medical benefits of cannabis on his family. His mother lived her life as an active and loving person and was slowly losing that light in life due to rheumatoid arthritis, which stopped her from doing the things she loved like writing letters to family and going on adventures. Uncertain how to help, the founder’s friend recommended cannabis oil to rub into his mother’s joints, in addition to the numerous drugs already prescribed to her for her symptoms. After convincing her, the mother began using the oil, and slowly regained use of her hands and the active lifestyle she had enjoyed before suffering the side effects of her prescription narcotics. The founder was astounded, and a passion for advocating for cannabis’ acceptance filled him with determination. He decided to dedicate his efforts to help patients across the nation safely access high-quality medical cannabis. Assembling a team of like-minded individuals, Patriot Care began in 2014, and have grown to establish safe dispensaries in multiple states.
