What Is Snapchat?
We know that you’re probably here for a list of cool cannabis snaps, but before we dive into that, let’s take a moment to talk about Snapchat itself. What is it? Where did it come from? How does it work?
Snapchat is a mobile messaging application used by millions of people worldwide. Users can send photos, videos, and messages that disappear after a short time.
What makes it different from other social media apps is that it allows users to share their stories with friends in real time. What’s more, you can use its face filters to add fun effects like cat ears or bunny ears to your selfies!
What Can I Do on Snapchat?
Snapchat lets you share photos and videos with your friends and family in a whole new way. You get to decide how long the content will be available for others to view before disappearing forever. This makes it easy for you to share things you wouldn’t want others to see later on such as embarrassing moments or controversial opinions without fear of being exposed.
You can also use Snapchat’s unique story feature that allows you to publish messages and photos from your day in chronological order so others can see what’s happening at any given moment. These stories expire after 24 hours but they’re archived if someone wants them for later viewing.
Schoolboy Q
The first weed Snapchat user on our list is Schoolboy Q, a southern California rapper who has never been afraid to be completely blunt about his love of marijuana. His account shows off Q’s collection of weed—from different strains and types to rolling papers and grinders.
The pictures are complemented by relevant captions that showcase his relaxed attitude towards weed. If you’re looking for some edibles inspiration or just want a laugh, check out what he has going on through the app.
Snoop Dog
To celebrate 20 years of Doggystyle, Snoop Dogg just launched his first-ever weed line. The rapper collaborated with Canada’s Province Brands for a limited-edition marijuana product that smells and tastes like all-natural oranges.
According to a report, Snoop banked on the excitement surrounding legalization for making sales soar: “When legalization came to California, it was a huge part of what we wanted to do with Leafs by Snoop,” he said. Once we got legalized here in California, it opened up our eyes to what is possible.
He is fairly active on Snapchat, and you can subscribe to his channel for more information on everything he does.
